Raja Azaad Singh rules over his people with compassion and fairness, and as result this region prospers. A Corrupt Police Officer Highlights The Flaws In The System The Film Stars Salman Khan As The Hero Sonakshi Sinha As The Debutant Heroine.Set in Laalgurj, UP. Dabangg is a story of Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan), a totally fearless but corrupt police officer with unorthodox working methods. But even the most fearless at times face a tough fight with their innermost demons. Chulbul has had a bitter childhood. His father passed away when he was very young after which his mother Naini (Dimpla Kapadia) married Prajapati Pandey (Vinod Khanna). Together, they had a son Makhanchan (Arbaaz Khan). Prajapati favors Makhanchan which does not go down well with Chulbul. He decides to take control of his destiny and detaches himself from his stepfather and half brother. His sole attachment is his mother. However after his mother's demise and an unsuccessful attempt to mend wounds, Chulbul snaps all ties with his stepfather and half brother. Rajo (Sonakshi Sinha) with her unique perspective of life enters his world and turns life upside down. Chulbul starts to see life more positively and also gets sensitized to the value of a family.
But his detractors especially the dubious Cheddi Singh (Sonu Sood) have their own vested interests and emerge as spokes in the wheels, putting one brother against the other. Makhanchan ends up carrying out act oblivious to the consequences. When he realizes he has been used, he turns to Chulbul.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has put life in this song. The cast, specially Sonakhshi is a beautiful addition on Indian screen. I like how bollywood is finally upgrading to HD and HQ videos and movies....but bollywood's High Definition needs to be like REAL...High Def...We as desi people are not that light in color....Every since watching Billu Barber song Love Mera Hit Hit soniyeh, i've noticed Bollywood has been making their STARS...lighter and lighter in skin complexion. Since his wife is expecting, he asks his Jaswant to drive the truck for him. Jaswant finds out that the truck is delivering smuggled and illicit goods, and refuses to drive it, and the owners of the trucking company and others beat him up, and eventually kill him. However, he himself is held by Inspector Amarnath for the homicide of his brother; his house is burned down by the trucking company owners; his wife is reportedly dead in the fire. All his sentences result in death. Years later, Balwant's wife is still alive, but the trauma has left her speechless; She has given birth to twins, Mahesh and Rajesh. Mahesh was separated from a young age, but Raja lives with her. Mahesh is adopted by Inspector Ram Avtar. Raja has a sweetheart in Kavita, and Mahesh woos Sunita. Balwant and his family's paths cross when Raja steals Kavita's jewelery for his mother's treatment in America; Kavita happens to be the daughter of one of the trucking company owners'; And in order to get his adopted father a promotion, Mahesh decides to seek out Balwant, and put an end to his "Teesri Adalat".
